  • Review & Checked the petty cash/payment vouchers issued by Treasury Executive;
  • Review & Checked the Cap Calls vouchers & summary for Financing/Project/Operating Expenses prepared by Treasury Executive;
  • Review & Checked the petty cash float top up & cash count on monthly basis;
  • Review & Checked the renewal of Directors & Officers/Cash-in-transit/Cash at safe/Fidelity/Fire insurances on yearly basis;
  • Checked & Approved on data input & posting of journals into MHW Developer system;
  • Review & Checked the Bank Reconciliation statements prepared for 60 bank accounts on monthly basis;
  • Review & Checked the payment vouchers;
  • Review & Checked the Debit Note issued by the Treasury & Journal prepared by GL executives;
  • Review & Checked the Monthly management accounts (ie. Balance sheet, Income statements and Cash flow statements) prepared by GL executives;
  • Ensure the Financial Statements are prepare in compliance with the MFRS and Companies Act 2016;
  • Liaise with appointed statutory auditor for fees proposal/timeline of audit works;
  • Review & Checked the draft audited Financial Statements and finalise for signing the Directors' Reports & Statutory Declaration by the company Directors & Head of Finance;
  • Ensure timely submission of Annual Return by the Company Secretary;
  • Ensure timely submission of Tax Estimation by Dec of each year for the coming YA's tax instalment scheme;
  • Liaise with Tax Agent for submission of Tax Variation by June/Sept of each year;
  • Review & Checked the Tax computation prepare by the engaged tax agent in compliance with Income Tax Act 1965 and timely submission of E-Filing of Returns;
  • Liaise with RMCD for refund of GST Input Tax;
  • Liaise with PwC for Corporate Income Tax & Tax planning for tax deferment and savings;
  • Prepare the Profit/Cash flows projections of the Companies with potential land sales/project developments;
  • Estimation of Corporate Income tax exposure for potential land sales & seek PwC advisory/consultation on potential tax issues;
  • Assisting in Corporate Exercise (Project Tropaz) for providing information/documentation for Financial/Tax/Legal Due Diligences queries for the financial periods involved;
  • Any other ad-hoc matters as given by Head of Finance from time to time;

Job Requirements
  • Possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • Chartered Accountant membership wih professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA & MIA.
  • Required skills(s): MHW Accounting System & MS Office
  • Candidate with strong audit background will be added advantage
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in property development industry or related field.
  • Independent, mature and able to meet tight deadlines in a challenging environment
  • 1 Full-Time position available
