Serves as a senior compliance risk analyst for Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) responsible for establishing internal strategies, policies, procedures, processes, and programs to prevent violations of law, rule, or regulation and design and deliver a risk management framework that maintains risk levels within the firm's risk appetite and protect the franchise. In addition, engages with the ICRM product, region, and function coverage teams, in order to partner to develop and apply CRM program solutions that meet business and customer needs in a manner consistent with the Citi's program framework.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Compliance Assurance, Product, ECP and Country Compliance teams to document, analyze and track Compliance Monitoring activities
  • Support coordination efforts, as part of any required implementation changes to the Monitoring program.
  • Project support and tracking for the Compliance Assurance CSP effort; specifically, assisting and driving projects pertaining to Compliance Monitoring program.
  • Supporting Compliance Monitoring teams as a "Monitoring SME" and participating in the design, development, delivery and maintenance of best-in-class Compliance Monitoring programs and practices for ICRM.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation and reports for regulatory exams, financial reporting, location strategy, and internal management reporting.
  • Track and follow-up with Monitoring Units in regards to submission of monitoring plans, modifications to plan, and quarterly monitoring results.
  • Investigating and assisting in responses to Compliance monitoring queries, preparing required documentation, responses for the monitoring inquiries.
  • Assist global Compliance teams to implement the monitoring (SMP) MCA, and review results of the same to ensure adequate implementation and execution of monitoring MCA globally.
  • Analyze and aggregate monitoring results from all monitoring units and review to identify trends and areas of emerging risks and prepare communication to stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing regional and global reports related to monitoring and monitoring issues
  • Assist in any other Compliance Assurance related projects and tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization
  • Work collaboratively with regional and global partners in other functional units; ability to navigate a complex organization
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge in area of focus
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree; experience in compliance, legal or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof; experience in area of focus preferred
