Robert Half Finance and Accounting are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner for a dynamic Plc in Cardiff
Role
To prepare budgets, forecasts and periodic managements accounts to strict deadlines.
Provision of business partnering of stakeholders of the wider business, to include
Regular meetings with relevant senior management and provide them with relevant management information that will ensure that budget targets are met.
The role will also identify current and future risks and opportunities (financial & non-financial) and report in a manner that allows informed decision-making to be made.
All this contributes to the business meeting its financial performance targets, grant agreement obligations and statutory accounting requirements.
Responsible for production of comprehensive annual budget and forecasts for assigned area of responsibility, including relevant P&L, balance sheet and cash flow impacts.
Independently conduct monthly review meetings with budget holders, to act as the key point of contact for all finance issues for budget holders, and to support them with business cases.
Periodic presentation of financial performance, forecasts and budget variances for area of responsibility, including financial opportunities and risks.
Profile
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA)
Good understanding of financial and accounting issues
