My client is a long established insurance company based in Warrington, they are looking for a Finance Manager to head up a bustling finance department, you will be well versed in a number of key areas including system development in line with industry guidelines and financial aspects of insurance claims.

Providing their services in to several key areas they provide a bespoke an tailored solution to their clients who include several blue chip organisations, they have recently been awarded ISO status.

Description

This Finance Manager position will manage and actively produce the following aspects of the financial reporting;

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and information pack including variance analysis and commentary for the board
  • Supervise and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly cash flow forecast for the group
  • Maintain the asset registers for the group
  • Assist in preparing budgets and cash flow forecasts
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
  • Supervision and management of finance team
  • Development of existing systems in line with industry guidelines
  • Supporting with ad hoc duties

    • Profile

    The successful Finance Manager will be;

    • Well versed in insurance industry framework (previous experience)
    • Can do attitude
    • Attention to detail
    • Commercial outlook
    • Studier of ACCA/CIMA/AAT (QBE still considered)
    • Able to work with minimal supervision
    • Experience in similar role (desirable)
