The Role
Robert Half are supporting a well known organisation in the recruitment of a Financial Reporting Manager in Walsall. This is a new position which has been created to support the finance strategy and will play a pivotal role in the production of key financial statements for the senior stakeholders. As the Financial Reporting Manager, key duties will include:
- Utilising knowledge of technical accounting and regulatory reporting
- Working closely with key stakeholders across the business and advising on corporate reporting
- Ad hoc analysis to facilitate improved commercial decision making
- Preparation of financial information and regulatory disclosure
- Continuous improvement of finance processes and reporting tools
- Training of internal technical team
Your Profile
Ideally you will be a fully qualified accountant with previous experience in a similar role, although candidates looking for their first move from practice will also be considered. Due to the fast paced, high growth environment you will be flexible and adaptable and will be happy getting your sleeves rolled up and helping out wherever it is needed. Our client is looking for someone who is ambitious and driven who can progress and take on more responsibility in time. You will be supporting a wide range of stakeholders across the business so first class interpersonal and communication skills are a must. If you have a pre-existing knowledge of Financial Reporting and statutory reporting this would be highly beneficial.
