Key Responsibilities:
- Take charge of the regular review process for standard sensitive accounts.
- As part of the Client’s FATCA/AEOI Project Team, perform review according to internal and external policies/guidelines.
- Participate and drive the various divisions within the bank to meet FATCA/CRS project timeline.
- Contribute directly to the Bank’s operational permanent control framework in day-to-day business activities.
- Comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
- Minimize operational failure, including but not exclusively, the risk of fraud, by helping to devise, and by implementing sufficient, regular controls.
- Work closely with different divisions within the Bank including Operations and IT to develop and implement new operating procedures.
- Liaise regularly with internal groups to ensure the designated tasks implemented following the timeline: Compliance, Tax, Legal, Front Office teams, Due Diligence, as well as other support teams within Wealth Management that have any involvement in the projects.
- Be the single point of contact for client onboarding and related matters.
- Abide with operational risk procedures and escalate incidents to management and/or Permanent Control (or Compliance as appropriate) as soon as an issue is identified.
- Keep abreast of developing legislation on FATCA, CRS and other initiatives of the Bank
Specific Qualifications:
- Degree from a recognized university or professional qualification in law, accounting or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in Client Onboarding, those with a background in FATCA and/or AEOI projects are at an advantage.
- Self-starter who is able to prioritize and manage multiple work streams.
- Attention to detail and organized in a systematic manner.
- Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with computer and software packages including but not limited to: Microsoft Office (such as Project, Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
- Full working proficiency in spoken and written English
