For over 60 years, Moss, Levy & Hartzheim, LLP, a regional CPA firm with offices in Beverly Hillls, Culver City and Santa Maria, has been providing a broad spectrum of accounting, auditing and tax services to our valued clients throughout the State of California as well as 35 other states.? Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a motivated team player with knowledge of either government or non–profit auditing to lead financial statement audit engagements for non–profit organizations and government sector clients including municipalities, special districts and school districts at our Santa Maria office.? You will supervise staff on audit engagements; manage client relationships throughout the audit process; document results and identify & resolve client issues.

  • Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 3+ years of recent public accounting audit experience (prior government or non–profit experience is preferred, but not required)
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service, leadership and technical skills including proficiency with MS Word & Excel and an accounting software package
  • Knowledge of general auditing through current FASB, SAS, and GASB pronouncements
  • Availability for frequent travel to client locations
  • CPA license and prior tax experience are preferred (some tax work will be required during tax season)
