Commercial Accountant - Media / PR Agency - Central London
Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively alongside a reputable agency in London, who are on the lookout to for a Commercial Accountant.
Key Requirements
You must have a strong commercial and analytical background. You should enjoy operating behind the numbers, spending time away from your desk and work closely with other departments in the agency, using information to drive working capital of the business.
From a cultural perspective they're looking for a team member who'll be proactive, confident with a willingness to learn. Ideally a candidate who isn't a 'system jockey', but understands the relationship between Billing and Revenue, and commercially understands the science behind the process.
Culturally the agency is incredibly supportive, lively and fun, departments are well-integrated ensuring there's a close-knit, positive relationship amongst team members.
Key Responsibilities
You will also get the opportunity to implement knowledge around job profitability, retainer reconciliations and utilisation reports, although this experience isn't essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Update the weekly revenue forecast sheet and attend weekly revenue meetings
- Have control of and process additional revenue streams, including admin and insurance recharges
- WIP Management
- Review debtors
- Review job reconciliations
- Ensure billing is accurate, timely and in line with client contracts
- Work with the Business Directors and Practice Lead to ensure a better commercial awareness
You will also get the opportunity to implement knowledge around job profitability, retainer reconciliations and utilisation reports, although this experience isn't essential.
