An External Audit Manager is needed to effectively manage a portfolio of audit clients, ensuring that the audits are completed in time, within budget and to client satisfaction, through effective and efficient people and other resources management.
Duties:
- Effectively plan, control and execute audits within delegated area of responsibility
- Effectively manage audit teams; setting goals and providing direction
- Involved in steering/audit committees
- Provide regular feedback to audit management/partner
- Review audit working papers, compile written reports and present findings to audit management
- Maintain effective ongoing communication with relevant parties
- Manage all administration aspects of the audit with efficiency and accuracy
- Manage the proper and effective utilisation of all staff members on the audit
- Establish and manage client relations
- Address and respond to issues relating to the audit
- Finalisation of audits; completion of management letter and audit reports
- Ability to discuss contents of the management letter with the client
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge
- Provide on the job training and coaching to audit teams; identify gaps and address weaknesses
Completion and evaluation of performance appraisals
Requirements:
- Matric
- CA (SA)
- Computer Literate (MS Office)
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge
- Keeping abreast of legislation changes
- 2 - 3 years working experience in a similar type industry
- Experience in managing and co-ordinating audit teams of various sizes
- Auditor General (Public sector) experience will be an advantage.
Salary: R40 000 CTC
