Group Financial Reporting Accountant

Reed Finance Swindon are seeking an experienced, qualified Group Reporting Accountant to join a passionate, innovative growing business in Chippenham.

Role Responsibility - To manage the external and consolidated reporting of the Group to a high standard, and to concisely explain the impact of accounting standards to non-accountants at a senior level.

• Preparation of half-year and full year published consolidated statutory accounts for an AIM listed group, including liaison with the Group's external auditors.

• Preparation of the Group's quarterly consolidated management accounts.

• Preparation of statutory accounts for all entities in the Group.

• Proactive research into the latest developments in IFRS and the consideration of the relevance, implications and impact of these on the Group's reporting.

• Liaison with tax advisors and HMRC to ensure good understanding of the Group's tax position.

• Continual improvement of the consolidation workbook, to enable maximum automation of processes, aiming for a monthly consolidation.

• Undertaking ad hoc finance-based project work, including the reporting of business acquisitions and disposals.

• Effective internal and external communication and collaboration with all stakeholder groups.

You will be a qualified accountant with excellent attention to detail, an ability to build strong working relationships and communicate with people at all levels across the business. You will be proactive and motivated to produce high quality work.

Essential:

Experience of consolidations and listed group reporting.

Strong knowledge of IFRS and FRS 101.

ACA or ACCA qualified accountant.
