SF Recruitment are seeking an ambitious Part Qualified Accountant to join a fast paced, dynamic and innovative business based in Nottingham City Centre
Our client a market leader in its sector require an Assistant Management Accountant to work closely with the Management Accountant in their newly refurbished open office with a number of duties including:
- Management accounts including P&L's, Cash positions, Balance sheets
- Preparing month end schedules / journals by the required deadlines such as Payrolls, Accruals and Prepayments.
- Bank Reconciliations
- Analysis of company expenditure
- Weekly/Mid-week Progress report of the companies GP
- Uploading payments and payrolls to the bank after checking
- Calculating bonus on multiple schemes
- Cash flows / Forecasts
- Budget preparation
- VAT Returns
As the ideal candidate you will be:
- AAT Qualifed/ Hold a Finance and Accountancy Degree
- Studying or looking to study towards your ACCA/CIMA (or the equivalent)
- A minimum of 12 months working in a similar position
- Have a working knowledge of Excel using Pivot Tables and VLookups
- Working Knowledge of Sage is beneficial but not essential
