An exciting opportunity with a multinational manufacturing innovator (£9bn turnover), the Finance Manager (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) - global manufacturing brand (FTSE 100) will be the Finance Lead for the Integrated Programme Teams (IPT) and proactively support the Programme Mangers with financial data to effectively measure Programme performance.

This role will be based on the picturesque Isle of Wight, where you can enjoy numerous summer festivals, carnivals and events, as well as miles of beautiful beaches, 500 miles of public footpath, interesting wildlife and more sunshine than most of the UK (500 hours a year more than London!).

Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: FINANCE MANAGER (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) - GLOBAL MANUFACTURING BRAND (FTSE 100)

  • To maintain a financial model of the programme enabling effective measurement of programme performance against Board Paper, Budget, Forecast and Prior year
  • Manage and lead the team of Finance Business Partners supporting the programmes; providing coaching and development to the team
  • Through the Finance Business Partner team, ensure that the data used to report and measure programme performance is complete, accurate and derived from underlying books and records
  • Review through an earned-value approach to determine appropriate allocation to balance sheet or income statement. Regularly review the Cost to Complete (CTC) to ensure that any overspend is identified and authorization obtained prior to the overspend being incurred. Monitor amortization to ensure it is consistent with the assets. Perform required impairment reviews on a bi-annual basis
  • Attend and support local and senior management programme reviews
  • Develop Financial awareness within the business as appropriate
  • Identify and support Continuous Improvement Projects within the Finance and Programme teams

Profile

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Hold a relevant Accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
  • Confident IT skills, including Excel
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Knowledge ERP systems
  • Experience of group accounting/investment/treasury
  • Management and Financial Accounting techniques
  • Budget and Planning techniques
  • Principles of Treasury and Foreign Exchange

Job Offer

£40,000 to 50,000 plus a host of superb benefits
