My client, a world-class luxury-car and aero-engine manufacturing business, is seeking a self-motivated, inquisitive and highly-analytical Financial Accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA) with excellent business partnering skills to join its Head Quarters in West Sussex.

Description

As a Financial Accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA), you will deliver monthly reports and prepare annual financial statements, all within a compliant framework. The Financial Accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA) will actively seek information on financial business change and development, and work closely with business partners. The Financial Accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA) will also review, manage and steer the operational processes (P2P, production inventory control, and cash-flow, including global payments), prepare/review quarterly VAT returns and provide input (re: risk management for system and processes.

Profile

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience of dual or multi-currency operations
• Proven track record of delivering group reporting and statutory financial statements
• Fully-qualified Accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA)
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and challenge business partners, while identifying issues through to successful resolution
• Seek out and deliver continual improvement opportunities across systems, tasks and processes
• Experience using SAP (desirable)
• High degree of accuracy
• Strong analytical skills
• Advanced knowledge using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Job Offer
