Requirements
* Must have MBA/Bachelors in Accounting.
* Must have 10 years' experience in field.
* ACCA LEVEL 2/ CPA.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* CXC passes in (Accounts and Mathematics) Grades 1or 2.

Key Responsibilities
1. On a day to day basis is responsible for providing business decision support and accounting advice and guidance to the business functions located in Jamaica. In addition to decision support, is also responsible for ensuring that all non-transactional accounting entries are timeously and accurately recorded in the accounting system and have been adequately reviewed to determine compliance with company policies, departmental instructions and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and local tax regulation. Responsible for maintaining corporate, local and tax books as required.
2. Manages all internal (Corporate Reporting - Coral Gables/San Ramon) and external (tax authorities; external auditors; etc.) reporting requirements and service deliveries in respect of the above accounting area and provides timely and accurate information to the business functions to ensure efficient and effective business decision making. Ensures that all reporting deadlines are adhered to and information delivered is accurate, clear and concise. Takes responsibility and accountability for ensuring that business needs are met at all times and plans and prioritizes work plans/activities accordingly. Ensures all account reconciliations are prepared timely and accurately and that any items requiring action are followed up and addressed appropriately.
3. Assists in Finance function projects as and when required; take lead role in recommending and developing solutions to issues impacting the finance function; constantly foresees areas of improvement of accounting process and practices and ensures that Jamaica's finance function as a whole is seen as delivering first class service delivery.
4. Maintains continued awareness of internal controls, accounting and tax regulations, compliance with corporate policies and procedures to ensure that the Jamaica accounting group passes all internal/external audit requirements. Addresses timely and appropriately all compliance issues which may arise, reporting accordingly to the local compliance committee.
