Century Insurance Agency Limited -is looking for an Assistant Accountant recently qualified or currently pursuing CPA, ACCA or equivalent who will perform bank and account reconciliations, manage accounts receivable and all payments. Must be self-driven and able to handle stress and pressure. Must have strong knowledge in MS Excel and ability to adapt to various accounting programs.
Job Responsibilities:
* Assist the Accountant in running the Accounts Department
* Ensure that the financial records are in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
* Oversee the Accounts receivable process
* Assist in the preparation of payroll
* Carry out account reconciliations as required
Skills:
* Must have excellent communication skills
* Must have good decision-making skills
* Must be highly organized and self-driven
* Must have the ability to professionally and effectively communicate via oral and written communication with all levels internally and externally
The successful candidate must:
* Be a recently qualified or pursuing (CPA, ACCA, CMA, etc.)
* Have previous experience in managing Accounts Receivable Collections Process
* Have a strong background in automated accounting system (Quickbooks, AccPac etc.)
* Have advanced knowledge in MS Office Tools (MS Excel)
* A good team worker
BV Islanders or Belongers preferred.
Previous experience essential.
