Senior Audit Associate

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are recruiting for a Senior Audit Associate position based in Leicester. The business is a well-recognised Accountancy practice, the office is easily accessible from all surrounding areas of Leicestershire, Loughborough, Hinckley, Corby, Kettering, Rugby and Kettering.

The role of the Senior audit associate is to be a key team member within the audit team. This involves client engagement and delivery. With this role you will also have the responsibility of taking on new clients. As a senior audit associate, you will also play a big part in being a business adviser to clients. Fundamentally you will have up to 18 months of experience within Audit where you would off gained your primary skills and experience in auditing. Job responsibilities:

• you'll work as part of the team, leading on site audit teams, effectively providing a hands-on compliance and/or advisory role that exceeds client expectations
• you'll be trusted to oversee all aspects of audit planning, fieldwork and completion for a portfolio of clients
• you'll prepare or review work papers and drafts of the financial statements
• you'll allocate work to other members of the audit team, ensuring associates understand their responsibilities and have received excellent on-the-job
