Robert Half are delighted to be partnering with a FMCG organisation based in Somerset. You will be based in the organisations head office, which offers parking spaces and a friendly and dynamic working environment.

The role is a full-time, permanent Commercial Management Accountant position. Robert Half's client are looking to pay up to £45,000 with the possibility of working from home for one day a week. This role will provide an exciting opportunity to an individual who is looking to support an experienced Finance Director with their commercial ventures and whose knowledge will positively impact the profitability and sales of the business around the UK.

Your main responsibilities within the role, will include;

• Producing monthly management accounts
• Explaining the variances from budgets to internal colleagues
• Controlling cashflow forecasts
• Preparing ad-hoc monthly reports
• Controlling end to end product costings, ensuring margins and profitability are at the forefront of your mind at all times
• Monitoring and managing product profitability and recommending courses of action
• Creating reports for the companies board and making recommendations to the business

You will need;

• Experience of preparing management accounts
• Experience of working with Excel
• A qualification in accounting; ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Ability to work on your own initiative
