Based in the heart of Shoreditch, this growing independent accountancy practice is looking to add an Assistant Accountant / Senior Accountant to their team to work on a full-time basis.
They are willing to pay c.£25k-£28k for the right candidate and have a number of benefits on top of this including 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
As a small practice, the staff are both friendly and supportive in their nature, and the Director treats staff members as individuals and not a statistic and offer a realistic work-life balance.
Their clients are predominantly within the hospitality and technology sector, given their prime Shoreditch location.

Assistant Accountant / Senior Accountant Responsibilities
- Reporting to Director
- Managing a portfolio of clients
- Clients from a range of industry sectors including hospitality, recruitment firms, cybersecurity and technology firms with turnovers up to £8m
- Assisting in preparation of year-end accounts & corporation tax
- Bookkeeping for small businesses and contractors using Freeagent & Xero
- VAT return preparation
- Draft personal tax preparation
