The Permanent Division of Robert Half are currently recruiting for a Commercial Finance Manager on behalf of a multi-site service business with offices in Hemel

The Role

As Commercial Finance Manager you will be tasked with driving financial growth by owning the financial strategy, controls and management information for the business unit whilst providing insight to influence performance. Day to day duties will consist of reviewing and improving billing and WIP areas whilst staying close to forecasting activities; identify and resolving weaknesses within the Business; creation of targets and benchmarking processes; business unit reporting including profit and loss analysis and profitability reporting; business planning with finance and non-finance heads; cost benefit reporting and analysis; working closely with the contract support team to train on performance standards; financial and contract support; analysis of contracts and the provision of value add information into the business and externally for clients

Your Profile

You will be an experienced and Qualified Accountant with previous experience in a senior Commercial Accounting role ideally gained within a service or outsourced solutions business with strong management accounting skills and an analytical mindset. You will be able to lead and develop a small team whilst also being able to work cross functionally across finance and non-finance. This is an excellent role for an individual to take full ownership of a profitable business unit.
