Management Accountant

Robert Half are recruiting for a private equity backed games & entertainment company based in central London. The client is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their growing team.

Role

The Management Accountant role for the private equity backed games & entertainment company based in central London consists of the following responsibilities:

Our recruit will be confident, outgoing and a quick learner, ideally with an interest in board games. An understanding of how the finance function interacts with other departments is key. The role will involve most of the day to day bookkeeping and management accounts packs with plenty of work being delegated from the FD.

• Development and implementation of monthly management accounts and board pack - highlighting KPIs and useful management information.
• Completing sales reports.
• Monthly royalty calculations and quarterly statements.
• Monthly prepayment and accruals updates.
• Reviewing Design Team timesheets and apportioning cost.
• Maintenance of the fixed asset register and posting depreciation journals.
• Monitoring P&L expenditure and liaising with other department heads to review spend vs budget.
• Bookkeeping for a small associated company

Profile

To be a successful applicant for the management accountant position for the private equity backed property company based in central London you must meet the following criteria:

At least 1-2 years producing management accounts within industry or practice.

Happy in a hand's on two-person finance team.

Great communication skills

Ideally the candidate would have knowledge of SAP Business One software

Experience of working with product/stock, manufacturing/importing/a distribution business would be beneficial.

Salary & Benefits

£35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
