Assistant Accountant Study (if required)

We are currently recruiting for a fabulous client based in Windermere who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team. This hotel in the Lakes, who are well known for luxury and amazing food, requires an experienced all-round Assistant Accountant to support the Financial Director with the day to day accounts.

Duties include:

• Assisting with the production of management accounts
• Running the profit and loss accounts
• Variance analyse with budget and the previous year
• Intercompany account reconciliations
• Cash book reconciliations
• Daily bank reconciliations
• Accruals and prepayments
• Stock journals
• Monthly payroll including pensions and staff deductions
• Daily excel use (pivot tables)

This role would suit someone with drive and enthusiasm that has a real passion for their accounting career and wishes to grow and develop within a great business. The company will support study should the candidate wish to complete their studies but it is not a prerequisite for the job role - if you do not wish to study, you don't have to.
