Accountant (SGX Listed Experience Needed)

The Company
The company is a SGX listed REIT with strong growth potential and has recently won multiple awards. As part of a succession planning, they are now looking for an Accountant to be part of their finance team.
The Position
Reporting and working closely with the Finance Manager, the Accountant will undertake day-to-day finance operations, financial control, accounting and reporting functions where he/she will be responsible for analyzing business and financial performance for the business segments. The Accountant will liaise with operations units on financial performance analysis and other financial issues including ensuring that accounting reports are in compliance with approved accounting and tax regulations, standards and practices. There will be a need to manage quarterly and annual MAS reporting. The Accountant will also need to communicate business units, auditors, legal, SGX and MAS on related matters. There will be a need to be part of ad-hoc projects and task as required.
The Person
To succeed in this role, candidates should ideally have at least 5 years of working experience and an Accountancy Degree with a CPA or CA equivalent. Candidate with prior experience from a Property/ Real Estate / SGX company will have an added advantage. You should also have strong analytical skills, a positive attitude and be able to work under tight deadlines.
