Accounts Payable Clerk

Progressive Accounts Payable job role offering £21k plus study support for a global business in central LondonYour new companyYou will be working for a leading multi-brand technology business providing a variety of solutions across the globe. They have operations in the UK, Singapore, Dubai, Australia, Hong Kong and Ireland to name a few. They were founded over 100 years ago so are well established with a loyal customer base. With nearly 9000 workers worldwide and nearly 50 in finance in central London, there are numerous career opportunities to help you progress.Your new roleYou will be working as an Accounts Payable Clerk in a purchasing team of 5, reporting in to the Accounts Payable Supervisor. You will be working in a wider finance team of approximately 40-50 staff so there are plenty of other finance roles to progress in to. You will be processing invoices for multiple international entities taking ownership over a certain number of the business' suppliers. You will be completing statement reconciliations, dealing with queries and assisting with payments. You will also get exposure to month-end closure tasks. You will be using Navision system to complete your work.What you'll need to succeedYou must be bright, enthusiastic and have great communication skills as well as being committed to a career in finance. Ideally you will be a graduate looking to study the ACCA/CIMA but the client will consider those studying the AAT.
