As part of the audit team the main purpose of this role will be to perform operational and financial audits in accordance with the annual audit plan. This will be to evaluate the existence, adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, compliance with company policy and operating procedures, controls on safeguarding the assets, economical and efficient use of resources, reliability and integrity of information, and accomplishment of established business objectives
You will be involved in the development of annual audit plans and programmes with each assignment. This will be documented with risks, controls and tests to be performed. You will conduct an internal audit assignment for evaluation of adequacy and effectiveness of the system of internal control and quality of performance. You will also prepare professional audit reports which should clearly communicate findings, analysis, appraisals, recommendations and information concerning the activities audited. you will assist in the preparation of monthly summary reports to be present if the vice-chairman.
About You
To be eligible for this role candidates must have a Finance degree along with a chartered accountancy qualification, with experience in one of the big four companies and it is essential to have experience within an internal audit department of a large, complex company.
Candidates must also have working knowledge and exposure to an ERP software system, such as SAP or Oracle. You must be well versed with data analytics and spreadsheets.
