Accounts Payable Clerk
Robert Half are partnering with a business that has huge aspirational growth in Southampton. After being acquired by an American business, this organisation requires an accounts payable clerk who has the ability to be self sufficient, inquisitive and driven to align process under a new system. This role will last for six months and will require you to be immediately available to start.
The financial controller that this role is reporting into, will mentor, train and develop the right candidate for the role. With the potential to go permanent, you will need to impress within your temporary contract. This position requires someone with the following skills:
- High volume processing.
- Statement reconciliation.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Supplier query and warehouse liaison.
- Stock understanding and reconciliation with payments.
- Meet tight deadlines with suppliers.
- Paying suppliers on time.
- Updating spreadsheets with particular vendor information.
As an experienced purchase ledger clerk, our client will need you to pick up this role quickly and efficiently; recording accurate process notes and if needed, help others across the department as well.
This company has a business plan to excessively grow over the forthcoming years, with an American parent wanting to grow into the EMEA space particularly; a great brand with great scope.
