Description

Our client based in Farnham is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their Accountancy team on an interim basis until the end of the year.

  • Management of regular cashiering, banking and petty cash duties, alongside carrying out associated reconciliations.
  • Review and maintain AP functions, including:
  • The timely processing of standard invoices, consultant fees and patient refunds.
  • Coordinating and aiding in local supplier account reconciliations
  • Ensuring that un receipted POs are kept to a manageable level and that the correct PO Process is being followed.
  • Complete the end to end Billing and other A/R process, including:
  • Ensuring all billing is carried out promptly and accurately in line with procedure identifying billing problems, placing billing alerts, suspending and clearing as required.
  • Payment of consultants' fees in a timely manner.
  • Following up on billing queries liaising by with patients, consultants secretaries and the Shared Financial Services Centre.
  • Assisting the Shared Services AR teams with debt collection.
  • Review and take appropriate action for overdue vendor debt and liaise with the Assistant FACM/ FACM for arrangements for collection.
  • Assist in the month end process, including:
  • Processing the payroll data provided by the HoDS, to produce payroll journals.
  • Address staff queries through effective liaison with Payroll Department, Hospital HR and Heads of Departments.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of the input of the daily KPI data by the HoDs

A successful candidate will be available on short notice & have experience with the above

Due to the remote location of this role you would need to drive to get there
