PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The credit controller is responsible for managing customer invoicing and ensuring customer collections are in line with company payment terms. This role requires liaising with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve sound credit management.

MAIN ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reconcile customer accounts and set up new customers;
  • Liaise with the Customer Solutions team and Finance to resolve customer issues as they arise;
  • Manage customer payment processing on NAV Dynamics;
  • Run monthly customer statement;
  • Follow up and manage outstanding customer accounts;
  • Prepare for weekly customer account health check meetings;
  • Review credit best practice on a quarterly basis and provide appropriate solutions;
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks/projects as and when required; and
  • Ensure key performance indicators are met within established turnaround times (Refer to Appendix 1 - KPI).

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    • Qualifications and Experience:
    • 3 years' experience in credit collection or managing accounts;

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and sound knowledge of Excel, Word, VPS, MDS; and

  • Previous experience with Microsoft NAV Dynamics & MYOB (preferred).
