Group Financial Accountant

The role of Group Financial Accountant is responsible for the external reporting, being the main point of contact for the external auditors. The successful candidate for the role must be bright, detail oriented and highly motivated, with a full ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification. This person will have an integral role in the interim and year end consolidation process, as well as external financial reporting.

Description

The successful candidate for the role of Group Financial Accountant will be responsible for;

• Preparing the group consolidation of reports

• Management of the intercompany reconciliation process

• Work with operating companies across the group to ensure compliance

• Inform the wider Group of any changes to policies

• The preparation of the interim and annual accounts

• Leading as the key point of contact for external auditors

• Offering technical support to the Group function

• Preparing the statutory accounts

Profile

The ideal candidate must possess the following;

• Experience with producing accurate financial reports to deadlines

• Strong working knowledge of technical finance

• The ability to work independently

• Excellent interpersonal skills and confident in building relationships

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Be confident in making decisions

• A full and relevant financial qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)

• A full UK drivers licence
