The current Regional Commercial Accountant / Finance Manager (ACA) will soon be promoted to the Regional Financial Controller and his post has become available. What you'll be doing…Preparation of the monthly management accounts for the regionReview of all budget and forecast variances through the production of monthly variance reportsSupport the regions cash forecasting through the coordination of all aspects of cash reporting and the identification of risks and opportunities for both revenue and costPreparation of regional reviews by providing timely cash reporting and variance analysis at a regional and site levelSupport the central finance team and treasury with all adhoc cash reporting requestsSales price analysis on a weekly basis and provide the Regional Management Team with a forward forecast of price variance based upon current sales releases and achieved pricesSupport the annual year end audit processPrepare monthly Build WIP Analysis and use this to aid in setting and actively controlling WIP on site to within the threshold levelsSupport the Partnerships and Land department with financial modelling for new opportunitiesWho the client is looking for…Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) - first move from practice is ideal, although industry will also be consideredExperience of budgeting, cost control and management reportingAdvanced Excel skillsExcellent verbal and written presentation skillsAmbitious with clear career goalsThe Benefits...£40,000 starting salaryAnnual bonus based on your performanceSpecial offers and discount schemes including health club memberships and days outCareer development frameworkRecognition Scheme to reward top performers If you've read this far, this must be the perfect job for you: please apply with your CV now.
