Assistant Accountant job with a not for profit organisation in Cheshire paying up to £26,000 per annum.

My client is a not for profit organisation in Cheshire. Due to continued growth of the organisation they are looking to recruit a permanent Assistant Accountant to their team, the company has grown rapidly over the past year and they are bringing on new projects constantly so this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their skills and progress their career.
Your new role
As an Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the finance team, the majority of the role will be to provide financial support to the finance business partner in the accounting for projects, including budgeting, forecasting and actual performance. You will prepare the month end journals and you will provide analysis on the timesheet and non-time journals for projects. There will be adhoc tasks within the finance team to help with such as accounts payable work and bank reconciliations, so you must be willing to assist your colleagues with work where required to ensure the finance function runs efficiently.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience assisting with month end so you have a good understanding of the information used to produce the management accounts in order to instantly add value to the team. You will be keen to learn and develop your skills further which will help to enhance your career.
