Permanent Opportunity
We're recruiting for a Trainee Accountant for a well established Accountancy Practice based in Stoke on Trent, who are seeking a Trainee Accountant to join their growing team. The Trainee Accountant position will be suitable for candidates who wish to train as well as gain exposure to Accounts, Taxation and Audit.
Duties will include:
Managing a small portfolio of clients
Responding to client queries and giving advice
Contacting clients in order for them to meet their deadlines
Preparation of accounts
Preparing VAT returns
Assisting other team members as and when required
Candidate skills and experience
A keen eye for detail
Well organised
Ability to prioritise workload to ensure strict deadlines are met
Enthusiastic with a passion for accounting
A confident communicator
Computer literate - especially in Excel
Training and development providedThis role would suit a University Graduate or in the early stages of ACCA
