Your new role This is an exciting new permanent position for an accountant who will rise to the challenge of supporting a wider European financial team, ensuring the maintenance of strong overall financial controls. You will also be responsible for managing, training, and developing a small number of direct reports, who will assist you in the execution of your team's day to day activities. As Country Controller, you will also take charge of cash flow forecasting, support budgeting, and have strong interaction with the commercial team regarding new client contracts. Evaluation of major processes and country compliance will also form an integral part of this varied role. What you'll need to succeed Our perfect candidate will be a degree level, fully qualified accountant with a minimum of six years' experience. A detailed working knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP, Local GAAP, and tax requirements will be a distinct advantage. You must possess solid IT skills, demonstrating advanced proficiency with financial spreadsheet packages such as Excel. Commitment to achieving targets and deadlines will mean you are a motivated financial professional, ideally with an interest in international finance.
