General Ledger Accountant

Robert Half is currently working with a fantastic client of ours, who due to continued global growth are looking to hire an experienced general ledger accountant.

Role

My client is looking for an experienced general ledger accountant to join their growing team to support the business's continued global growth. The main responsibilities include:

• Maintain general ledger account analysis
• Journals, prepayments and accruals
• Fixed assets
• Reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of year end accounts and tax packs
• Assist with audit questions
• Balance sheet
• Intercompany accounts
• Provide backup assistance to accounting staff

Profile

The successful candidate must have a stable career history and have been in general ledger within a shared service centre or global business background for two years minimum.

Previous experience with an American organisation and SOX is highly advantageous.

Salary on offer is up to £32k with free parking on site.

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
