Global Accounting Network are currently partnering with a listed commercial property development and investment business based in central London. The Commercial Finance Director is looking to bring on board a Senior Commercial Accountant on an initial 12 month contract. This role will have significant exposure across finance and non-finance.

Main Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants
- Take ownership of the production of the half year and year end external reporting
- Produce the monthly management accounts and the accompanying commercial analysis ready for presentation
- Lead the performance vs actual and prior year analysis
- Business partner with non-financial stakeholders to assist better commercial finance decisions
- Constantly seek improvements in processes and system use
- Ad Hoc Analysis
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Accountant
- Excellent communication skills and previous management experience
- Ideally previous real estate experience
- Experience owning a P&L and month end reporting
- Very strong commercial acumen
