Based: Horwich

Salary: up to £30k dependent on experience

Temporary to permanent opportunity - Immediately available or short notice period

Our client is a globally renowned business in the technology and service industry. Due to a new system implementation and various other in-house projects, we are currently looking for an Assistant Accountant to join them. This business require support both in finance and with the new system to experience of SAP is absolutely essential (not just the use of, intricate knowledge)

Role:
  • Assisting Finance Director with month and year end duties
  • Reconciliations and reporting on profitability and financials
  • Posting accruals, prepayments and involvement with budgets and forecasting
  • Reporting to senior Managers on system use/upgrades
  • Business partnering with internal teams, working closely with SAP users to improve reporting practices
  • Driving improvements and enhancements to SAP add-ons/applications and identifying new solutions for growth
  • Driving implementations on new applications and offering system support to the team

Experience:
  • Experience from a finance/accounts role is essential
  • Strong technical and analytical skills - able to extract and interpret data
  • Advanced SAP knowledge is essential (able to navigate, draw reports, train other members)
