Job title: Assistant Accountant - Apprenticeship
Location: Walthamstow
Wage: £192 per week
Start date: ASAP
Working hours: 40 hours per week / Monday to Friday 9.30 am - 6.30 pm
Time spent in training: You are required to spend a minimum of 8 hours per week in training that supports your apprenticeship course
Course entry requirements: GCSEs at grade C/level 4 or above in English and Maths

About the role:

An established accounts firm providing cost effective services to small and medium enterprises in the most professional and accomplished manner possible. Helping to fulfill statutory duties like Value Added Taxation (VAT), payroll, filing of accounts and other financial and mangement aspects of business in a hassle free manner. Seeking a junior accounts assistant to work alongside the director and other members of the team assisting with payroll, bookkeeping and pensions.

Job duties and responsibilities:
  • Liaising with clients
  • Data entry
  • Learning and performing aspects of bookkeeping, payroll and pensions
  • Learning and undertaking all aspects of bookkeeping
  • Data input, answering calls, updating files and filing
  • General administrative duties
  • Liaison with clients to obtain paperwork
