Commercial Accountant

Our Client based in Oundle is looking to recruit for a Commercial Accountant to join their Finance team on a full-time, permanent basis with a salary of up to £35k. You must be a qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years' experience, being educated to degree level (CIMA/ACCA preferred) or qualified by experience. You must have a high standard of attention to detail with the ability to concentrate for long periods of time. There is room to develop and progress within this role for the right candidate.

Main responsibilities:

" Modelling business development scenarios, including sensitivity analysis
" Building financial models for capital investment appraisals and business case proposals
" Take ownership of the treasury function
" Ensure treasury controls and processes are documented, robust, effective and up to date
" Prepare daily, weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts to be used in senior decision-making process and assist with internal forecasts and budgets
" Financial modelling
" Understand and supervise all aspects of cash flow management
" Prepare various cash flow reports
" Work with Department Heads and Project Managers to accurately forecast timing and amount of future cash flows
" Assist with project assignments and financial reporting
" Knowledge of credit control
