Interim Accountant

Our client is looking for an Interim Accountant to work for a period of up to a year with the possibility of the position becoming permanent. You will be fully qualified and trained within a firm of Chartered Accountants. This exciting opportunity could be your first commercial position or you may already have a few years experience working within Industry.
You will be a dynamic individual with excellent business partnering skills, be an expert in financial models and reports / excel. Experience of product costing would be an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibility for supporting the business with their management accounts including,:

* Ownership of the weekly and monthly accounts

* Liaising with Clients, Operations and Directors with weekly and monthly performance reporting

* Variance analysis reports and understanding of waste streams and cost opportunities vs budgets and product costings

* Budgeting

* Providing commercial support and making decisions relating to price increase, modelling and customer profitability

* Ad hoc management support for various initiatives
