Marshall Moore are currently working with an organisation within the logistics sector who require an ambitious and progressive Assistant Accountant to join their team on permanent basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the management accounts team with budgeting, ledger management and VAT returns. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate within a similar role who is interested in completing their professional qualifications.

The Assistant Accountantwill be responsible for:
- Preparing and posting monthly journals
- Accruals and prepayments
- Management reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
- Budget production and quarterly re-forecasts
- Bank reconciliations
- Intercompany account reconciliations and reports
- Credit card reconciliations
Ideally you will have/be:
- ACCA/CIMA Part-Qualified
- Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant role
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Analytical approach to problem solving
