Our client, one of the world's leading cinema operators, has undergone rapid growth to span 10 countries, is looking for a Management Accountant with a Commercial approach to join its vibrant offices in West London.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, the role supports the Sales, Marketing and Film Buying departments. Working closely with the commercial teams, the role would be ideal for someone newly qualified, or a finalist, with a background in P&L.

The offices are fun and vibrant, so would suit a candidate with a sense of humour, not to mention the unlimited free cinema tickets for yourself and up to 4 guests!

Main Responsibilities include:
  • Producing timely and accurate management information in accordance with specified monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements
  • Forecasting of the commercial activities to Gross Profit within the P&L (including sales & cost of sales reconciliation for all sales channels)
  • Working closely with commercial teams on reporting revenue and costs accurately and efficiently Provide insight into differences between underlying systems and the finance system
  • Prepare the commercial departments cost preparation and review
  • Supports the Commercial FP&A Business Partner where required
  • Prepare the weekly KPI & monthly Flash reports ensuring accuracy and issued to within the required time frame for review
  • Prepare any other relevant weekly reporting ensuring they are accurate and issued to within the required time frame for review

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL NEED
  • A part or newly qualified accountant - ACCA/CIMA/ACA
  • Experienced gained as a Management Accountant, Financial Accountant or Assistant Accountant within a fast paced retail, hospitality or leisure business
  • Proven experience of building strong cross functional relationships
  • Use to working with large volumes of data, analysing and providing insights.
  • Solid experience of reconciliation of large volumes of data
  • Able to demonstrate examples of proactively engaging, guiding, supporting and recommending solutions with to improve profit performance, transparency of performance and processes
  • Extensive knowledge working with Excel & PowerPoint
  • Experience of producing variance analysis and commentary
  • A good sense of humour!
