Newly created role in a key client based in Bristol. The FP&A Manager will be responsible for the FP&A for a global division and gather a range of data from multiple sources, perform complex data manipulation and provide accurate and timely information and analysis to stakeholders throughout the business.

Global business services leader with an excellent reputation based in Bristol. Due to sustained growth and a recent global restructure they are currently looking to recruit an FP&A Manager to lead on the divisional FP&A Reporting.

Description

Reporting into the Global Commercial Finance Finance Director, the FP&A Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Play a lead role in project to automate and improve MI
  • Liaise with regional finance business partners in all regions to prepare a consolidated analysis of monthly performance and future forecasts
  • Be a trusted support to the senior management team
  • Collaborate with the Business Unit to determine their financial information needs and produce efficient solutions to meet these needs (e.g. reporting of cost reductions, headcount tracking, KPIs etc.) and educate and support the Business Unit as appropriate
  • Responsible for highlighting sensitivities & risks and delivering timely, accurate and granular reporting and commentary of performance, linking business drivers to actual spend and forecast
  • Identify metrics, analyse data, create models and forecasts and update existing analysis
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and make recommendations for improvement

Profile


  • Qualified finance professional

  • Experience of database reporting software such as Business Objects / Power BI would be an advantage
  • Highly numerate and experienced with Excel, with the ability to tackle complex mathematical problems
  • Experience of managing large and complex data sets across multiple systems
  • An inquisitive, analytical and logical thinker with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience of using financial systems to support business decision making
  • Ability to prioritise and work well to deadlines
  • Good communication and presentation skills, including oral & written and can adapt style to suit audience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experienced in managing own workload as well as working in a team environment
