Assistant Management Accountant

Robert Half are working with a growing technology company who are looking to recruit for an assistant management accountant.

Job objectives and responsibilities

• Responsibility for managing and analysing the profit and loss in the region in conjunction with the sales and operation team.
• Responsibility for adhering to defined management accounting processes set within the team

• Intercompany invoicing and reconciliations
• Participation in defining and implementing Finance strategy

• Contributing to business reviews and management meetings

• Month end processes including stock control, accruals, pre payments and journals

• Liaising with external stakeholders
• Provision of ad hoc support to the Management Accounting Team Leader and
• Provision of ad hoc support to Finance Business Partners

Person Specification

• Part-Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Self-starter who takes pride in their work
• Excellent Excel skills are essential, the applicant must be comfortable working with high volumes of data
• Excellent attention to detail and presentational skills
• Demonstrates maturity, confidence and credibility to challenge and influence individual thinking
• Analytical mind and able to work under own initiative
