Fantastic opportunity for a candidate looking to further their career in finance. This position is with a well-established company based within in the heart of Wicklow.

Key areas of Responsibilities:
• Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports
• Reconcile, analyze and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month end close
• Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
• Preparation of accruals and expenses
• Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits
• Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation
• Bank reconciliations
• Analyze and prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and statements of financial position
• Assist with or lead the month end quarterly end close process for assigned businesses or groups
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Monitoring various financial transactions and collaborating with the transactional teams
• Participate in and provide support in Group projects as required
• Assisting in the development of reports & reporting processes
• Assist in the preparation of annual budget process and forecasting process
Qualifications:
• IATI Qualified/ Part Qualified ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
• Experience in a multinational environment or larger organization is preferred
• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statements
