Robert Half Finance and Accounting are pleased to be recruiting for a Finance Director to join a multi-site manufacturing and retail group at their impressive HQ in Birmingham.

Role

Working closely with the board, the successful candidate will lead the finance function through a transformation and development programme - increasing the B2C online business, improving margins and looking at further opportunities for expansion. You will therefore need to be a proven strategic thinker with a passion for leading and developing the finance function through a period of growth.

Reporting to the impressive CEO, you be be key to the overall success of the wider business - supporting analysis, reporting and creating an environment of innovation. Key duties will include:

  • Leading and developing a high performing finance team
  • Providing analysis and commentary to the board on financial performance
  • Introducing new ways to support the business units - dashboards etc.
  • Oversee statutory reporting, tax and cash flow management

Profile

Qualified accountant (preferably ACA) with a strong academic background

Recent experience within a mulit-site business

Perhaps looking at moving in to your first FD position

Able to motivate and drive teams forward

Salary & Benefits

A salary banding between £75,000 - £85,000 + £6,000 Car allowance + bonus + pension is offered

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
