Assistant Accountant

Robert Half Temporaries team are currently representing an exciting opportunity for a temporary Assistant Management Accountant in Northampton with the potential to go permanent. The company are a manufacturing business and you will be very much involved in analysing and improving processes to save both time and money. You will be working within a busy, friendly accounts department of 20

Main duties include:

• Production of the Monthly Management Accounts
• P&L Reporting
• Balance sheet preparation and reconciliation
• Cashflow production
• Setting budgets
• Monitoring and reporting budgets on a monthly basis
• Review production processes and making suggestions to stream line costs and improve efficiency
• Weekly KPI packs
• Month end analysis
• Month end reconciliations
• Liaison with divisional managers Month end reporting
• Identifying and reporting on trends

Person:

• Ideally but not essential part qualified in ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong experience in Excel - including Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, IF Statements
• Experienced Management Accountant/ Financial Analyst ideally within a manufacturing environment
• Able to demonstrate cost savings/ increased revenue you have made within previous companies
