Financial Controller
Your New Role
Report direct to the Executive Chairman to oversee and provide leadership of core financial reporting functions, which include financial & management reporting, financial planning and budgetary control, treasury, funding, tax management and financial related legal work.
Accountable for the financial operations of the group of companies, including actively support the company's business direction.
Setting up and to ensure smooth operation for all accounting related matters for new branches or new business location (local & oversea)
Ensure internal controls are in place ad ensure compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial, statutory, audit and tax reporting.
Plan and execute risk management as a practice of creating economic value by using financial instruments to manage risk exposure, particularly credit risk and market risk.

Your New Role

- Formulating the company direction and supporting strategic and tactical initiatives.
- Develop financial and tax strategies
- Oversee accounting, finance, tax and treasury operations
- Able to design controls, setup financial infrastructure for new countries
- To oversee the issuance of financial information and reviewing & approving audit and financial reports

Requirement: -
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Business Studies/Management or equivalent
- Possess ACCA, CIMA or relevant Professional qualification
- Good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to multi-tasks, effective time management and able to work independently.
- Meticulous and Pro-active with strong sense of responsibility and committed to work.
- Knowledge of Company Secretarial documentation would definite an added advantage.
- Candidate with overseas related working exposure will be added advantage
- 10 - 15 years working experience with at least 5 years in senior management level
- Able to start immediately will be definite a plus point
- Team Player, Good working attitude, can take pressure.
