Senior Financial Analyst

  • Strong knowledge of TM1 & SQL coding required

The Role

Working as a team to support our key stakeholders and customers through reporting, forecasting, budgeting and financial modelling covering all aspects of the business that is accurate, detailed and insightful. Quality of the deliverables is achieved through gaining a detailed understanding of the business, maintaining / enhancing the integrity of the reporting tools and data used and working closely with stakeholders to understanding their information requirements.

Key Duties will include but not limited to the following;

Business Support

  • Maintain the integrity of revenue reporting
  • Ad hoc reporting and analytics via data warehouse using SQL for reporting on transactional data
  • Month end activities to close revenue and costs
  • Managing stakeholders and their portfolios
  • Annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for Revenue and P&L
  • Providing detailed insights for stakeholders on request
  • Assist with consolidation of NZ data and reports

Ongoing decision support of the business / Process Improvement

  • Supporting the business through continuous improvement of the quality of reporting
  • Maintain the integrity of data (Microsoft Planning Analytics [TM1] and SQL tables) through
  • maintain data tables (SQL) and perform BI activities for Finance and Sales
  • Integrate NZ data and reporting in TM1 and provide support for their architecture
  • Actively create / improve reports and dashboards for various stakeholders and strategies

  • Finance and non-finance manager
  • Operations
  • Group finance
  • The franchise network

Key Requirements

  • CA/CPA qualified
  • A proven track record with 5+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Proven track record of business partnering with senior executives with the ability to effectively communicate financial information
  • Advanced office skills, with significant exposure to financial and reporting tools (TM1, Hyperion, Tableau and SQL)
  • An analytical mind with Strong attention to detail
