Temporary Credit Controller
Main Purpose of Role:
Reporting to the Credit Control Team Leader, the Temporary Credit Controller will be responsible for collections management and the reduction of outstanding debt to the agreed payment terms. Manage outstanding sales balances falling due and contact customers before the balances become overdue.
This business is one of the larger clients in the Basingstoke area and is easily accessible via public transport and has parking on site, they have a wide European based network and are one of the premier names in their industry.
The team you will be part of is made up of a supervisor and a manager alongside a number of other Credit Controllers that are operating at the same level.
*Contact customers in a timely manner to ensure payment is received as per the terms.
*Work as a team to ensure full coverage of the sales ledger.
*Ensure invoices and statements are provided to customers as required including ad hoc requirements.
*Receive and log queries, escalating where necessary.
*Responsible for ownership of ledgers.
*Proactively communicate with customers internal and external with ledger
*Maintain telephone call rates and cash collection targets.
*complete monthly cash forecast.
*Undertake and fully engage/participate in any other ad-hoc duties required within the AR Finance team, as directed by the AR Finance Manager.
Key Skills Required
*Effective communication skills including telephone collection techniques
*Experience of SAP - FICO
*Able to demonstrate experience within credit control.
The ideal Temporary Credit Controller will be available immediately and able to commute to Basingstoke and start immediately. Also a preference for SAP or use of a similar system is preferred.
