During your tenure as a Manager in Global Employer Services, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:

  • Understands all aspects/provisions of global mobility programs, across the lifecycle of assignments and improves work efficiency, effectiveness, and client service by using common technology tools.
  • Responsible for managing and growing existing client engagements, and acting as main point-of-contact for client regional/global mobility leads in regular updates and periodic presentations.
  • Leads a team of experienced immigration professionals, overseeing distribution of work, reviewing and ensuring output is provided in a timely manner, is clear, succinct and accurate, while exemplifying leadership qualities and team spirit.
  • Oversees onboarding and implementation for new clients, and considers ways to serve clients better throughout lifetime of engagements.
  • Applies knowledge of current and proposed/pending immigration legislation, their implications, and understands implications for clients.
  • Trains new team members in subject-matter expertise, client protocols and billing.
  • Approves billing and invoicing, oversees team utilization and productivity, and ensures that client and internal protocols are adhered to.
  • Manages ad hoc projects, both internal and client-facing, including mergers and acquisitions.
  • Able to guide the team with experienced knowledge, and lead on drafting client advice, including ensuring that timely advice is disseminated to clients following any legal or regulatory changes.
  • Guides team in applying service line-specific, Global Tax and Legal, and firm-wide agreed standard methodologies, policies, procedures, and tools.
  • Understands the breadth of the firm’s activities and service lines, to ensure that Deloitte’s capabilities are leveraged to meet all the needs of clients.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of immigration experience, preferably with at least five-six years in managing teams of five or more.
  • Experience with a Big 4 firm, immigration firm, law firm, or in-house mobility department of a multinational company is required.
  • In-depth, first-hand experience of a wide range of industries
  • Extensive consulting and compliance experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of immigration laws and regulations.
  • Excellent project management and presentation skills required.
  • Exceptional research skills and strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Fluent in English (Reading, Speaking and Writing). Preference will be given to Bilingual candidates (Arabic/English)
