Senior Internal Auditor - FTSE250

As the Senior Internal Auditor you will be a key member of a small team, responsible for planning execution and strategic delivery, with an exciting amount of international travel to the financial centres of the world.

My client is an established and prestigious consultancy that, despite having market share, are growing in double digits YOY. They are present in 36 countries worldwide and a market leader in 5 continents internationally. Despite tight market conditions, this business have developed and diversified their market offering to continue a strong growth trajectory and remain ahead of the market. They are currently implementing a risk management framework and appraising a worldwide risk based audit plan for 2018.

Description

As the Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting risk based fieldwork across multiple geographies including financial, operational and compliance audits.
• Working closely with Senior Management (MDs, Regional CEOs and CFOs) to challenge and advise on best practice controls and business process.
• Remaining as an independent and objective party whilst also identifying commercial opportunity and advice for the business leadership.
• Conducting a wide variety of audits across Corporate functions, investigations and ad-hoc project work for the Group and business units.

You will be based in central London with a requirement to travel up to 40% of the time.

Profile

As the successful candidate, you will be a driven, progressive and experienced internal auditor. You will be confident of controls testing and risk-based audit procedure and have a commercial mindset in understanding the bigger business picture. You will have excellent communication skills and be a successful business partner who enjoys discussing and challenging multiple stakeholders at all levels. You will not be afraid to roll up your sleeves whilst also working at a high strategic level. You will enjoy travel and ideally speak multiple languages (although not essential).
